Careers at Cafecito

Join la familia.

We’re hiring purpose-driven team members for twelve-hour shifts of dignity.

Open positions

Build a legacy. Someone else’s.

Community Brew Associate

$11.50 / hr*

Full-time · On your feet · Open until filled

You’re the warm face of the familia. You’ll greet every guest, work the register, and embody our values during each and every minute of a twelve-hour shift.

  • Stand for the full twelve. Sitting communicates a lack of purpose.
  • Lift 50 lbs and smile through it.
  • Breaks provided where required by law, and nowhere else.
  • Keep emergency exits clear when time permits.

Overnight Restocking Specialist

Competitive for your ZIP

Overnight · Solo coverage · No relief shift

Alone with the inventory and your thoughts, you’ll keep the shelves full for the first-of-the-month rush. A self-starter who doesn’t need supervision, breaks, or a second associate on the floor.

  • Sick days accrue at a rate engineered to discourage their use.
  • Enjoy 10% off Cafecito products you otherwise couldn’t afford.
  • Scheduling provided weekly. Sometimes Tuesday. Sometimes not.

Director of Workforce Resilience

Salary · DOE

Corporate · Castle of the mind

Help us reframe turnover as renewal. You’ll optimize labor to the minute, benchmark our sick-leave accrual against the legal floor, and author the language that makes a 12-hour shift sound like a calling.

Benefits & perks

We take care of our own.

Purpose

The pride of a job well done — issued daily, at no cost to the company.

Family

We call you familia. Familia doesn’t unionize.

Flexibility

Your hours flex to demand. Your rent does not. We trust you to manage the difference.

Safety is a value

An aisle you can walk is an aisle you can shop.

Cafecito is committed to keeping walkways and exits clear whenever inventory volume and staffing levels allow. We hold ourselves to the same standard as the discount-retail sector that inspires us.

* In markets where the cost of living, and of dignity, runs low.

† Across the discount-retail sector, federal inspectors have documented a persistent record of blocked exits and fire hazards — over $26M in proposed OSHA penalties since 2017 across ~240 inspections at one major chain, which agreed to a $12M settlement in 2024. We aspire to their footprint.
